Second Miracle - Mothers Warmth

Just when my parents were celebrating my arrival, they did not expect that there was another situation waiting.
I was 4 months old, it was midnight 2am and my mom noticed that i was not able to breathe properly. Mom not able to find out what was my problem called my neighbor for help, but she could not do much. It was year 1984, and not many hospitals were operating 24x7. Dad gave a personal call to the doc and had to wake him up, as there was no other go. We went to the docs house. The doc, after checkup said that chances of me surviving are less and there was very little that he could do. This time, moms faith was more towards god. She took me back home and prayed again. Also, in the meantime, she wrapped me in a hot cloth and made sure i was kept warm whole night, as i was not able to breathe due to the cold climate of Bangalore. I dont know if it was gods grace or my mothers warmth, after few hours i was absolutely fine! A full stop to my parents anxiety. From that day onwards there was no Asthma or any breathing related problem in my life, and here i am today, fit and fine :)

My Birth

Location : Bangalore

Way back in 1984, my parents were told by the doctors that they would never have a second child again ( 9 years after my sis was born to them ). Just when they gave up after trying out every possibilities, they found a ray of hope when someone told them about Lord Venkateshwara and its divine power, and suggested that they do a darshan and see if their prayers are answered.
My mother wasnt a believer of God, my dad wasnt much either. During darshan, my mother challenged Lord Venkateshwara and said "Lord, i have heard a lot about you, and people do tell me about your existence and the miracles that you have done in the past and still doing, if you really exist, please give me a child, that too a boy, then maybe i will believe that you really do exist!" ( Dad was not aware about this )
And exactly a year later..here i come! :) :)
My dad came in after the nurse announced it was a boy. Mom looked towards dad and said "Do you remember our Tirupati darshan? I had asked Lord Venkateshwara for a baby boy" Dad answered with a smile "Did you know that i too was praying for the same when you were praying?" Mom smiles and says "Really? We owe this to Lord Venkateshwara then. After this i believe that he really does exist!"
My parents called me Venkatesh Prasad for sometime, later changed to Sachin :)
